Had a Peter Yealands New Zealand Pinot Noir last night. A blend of Marlborough and Central Otago Pinot Noir. I was sceptical at first but the fruit driven Marlborough complimented the more funky Central Otago nicely. Medium bodied but bursting with flavour.
Suggested food match: Duck and a sour cherry sauce.
People match: Anyone tired of fruit driven Pinot Noir but hasn’t gotten into the funky style, yet.
