Have you tried much Tasmanian Wine? Don’t know much about it? I have had the opportunity to try quite a bit of Tasmanian Wine in our annual pilgrimages to the Pinot Shop in Launceston, some of which hardly makes the “mainland”, and I can assure you that they are some of the best wines in Australia.
From the lovely Rieslings of the Tamar Valley, the world-class Sparklings from the Pipers Brook region and the Pinot Noirs from everywhere there are some great wines for everyone.
Tasmania Unbottled is a great way to experience many of these wonderful wines without having to leave the state. In Melbourne on Tuesday the 5th of August from 5.30pm to 8.30pm @ Zinc behind Federation Square.
